For more than 20 years Lothar has been dedicated to sales and business development of high-tech products. As a sales executive and member of global leadership teams in the machinery industry he was responsible for global sales, distribution channels and new business models for high-tech products. Lothar largely contributed to Plasser&Theurer’s position as innovative and successful global champion in the heavy machinery and railway industry.
Becoming an entrepreneur, he supports technology-driven clients around the world through innovation and transformation programs specializing in global sales, revenue generation, and digital sales & marketing tools. As managing partner of Epoona, he invests in climate and industrial technology companies. On an operational level, he contributes to business building, global operations and scaling in technology companies.
Lothar combines a technical education with studies in international marketing & business, and received a doctorate degree (PhD) from WU Vienna. He is a lecturer, advisor to start-ups and speaker at international conferences.
Lothar is married and proud father of two kids, loves outdoor activities and classic music.
